PEARL ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED (PEC) was founded in April 1994 by six Ugandans with different professional backgrounds and experiences when Uganda was privatising state enterprises. Our founders' main objective was to pool their vast experience to render professional services.
For over 25 years, PEC has contributed to the transformation of Uganda's built environment and infrastructure development, having participated in the Engineering, Design, Procurement and Construction of several buildings and civil engineering projects around the "Pearl of Africa".
We have employed and continue to deploy hundreds of people annually and continue to nurture their talent growth, well-being and career growth, becoming one of the most respectable indigenous construction companies that run multiple projects throughout the year. We have previously been recognised as one of the top 100 SMEs in Uganda (2011 and 2012).
